Delivery Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. How it works
- Every night, Yawmak looks at the birthdays coming up. Each cake is booked automatically 3 days ahead with a partner bakery that serves your office's city.
- The bakery delivers the cake to your office on the birthday, within the delivery window you set for that office.
- Offices are closed at weekends, so a birthday or work anniversary on a Saturday or Sunday is delivered the Friday before. On your Celebration rules page you can choose the Monday after instead, or the day itself if your office is open.
- Delivery windows are 09:00 to 12:00, 12:00 to 15:00 or 15:00 to 18:00.
- You can see each order from your dashboard: booked, confirmed by the bakery, and delivered.
2. Skipping a cake
You can skip a single cake from your dashboard before the bakery's cutoff, usually 48 hours before the delivery day. Skipping a birthday cake does not change your plan price. A skipped extra cake is not billed.
3. Areas served
Any city in Lebanon where a partner bakery serves your office. We are adding bakeries across Lebanon.
After you sign up, your Bakeries page shows which bakery covers each of your offices.
4. Dietary needs
Dietary needs come from your team list. Yawmak picks a cake from the bakery's menu that fits them. Please keep them up to date.
Cakes are made without what you list, but bakery kitchens may handle nuts, gluten, dairy and eggs, so they are not safe for severe allergies.
5. Late, missed or damaged cakes
- If a cake never arrives, tell us the same day: open the delivery in your dashboard and press Report a problem, or email [email protected]. No photo is needed. We credit your account, and the credit comes off your next invoice.
- If a cake arrives damaged or clearly different from the order, tell us within 24 hours the same way, with a photo of the cake. We credit your account in the same way.
- Credits are used on your next invoices. They are not paid out in cash.
The full rules are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
